THE CALF PENS

Converted calf pens with bespoke beds built by a local woodworker, from reclaimed wood.

We have a double room with small living area, and three bunk barns.

We also now have a larger group bunk barn, which accommodates up to 8 people in 4 double beds,  in shared open sleeping space.

DOUBLE CALF PEN

Staying in a former calf pen, the space has been repurposed, stripping back and improving the space with things like a log burner and new loft ladder. The space is arranged over the ground and first floor.

Aberdeen Angus Bunk Barn

A rustic glamping experience. Camping but inside an old calf pen with luxury mattress on top of bunk beds built from existing materials found on the farm.

DOUBLE BUNK CALF PEN

The room is an old calf pen that has been converted to provide luxury bunk beds in a rustic room. The accommodation is rustic and that’s a large part of its charm. The room isn’t insulated and the temperature will vary depending on the outside weather conditions and temperature.

Fresian Calf Pen

Get cozy and settle into this rustic space, set as part of Back O’ Th’ Hill Farm at Bolton Abbey this tranquil bolthole is a true place of rest and refuge; an escape from everyday life.
