EXCELLENTBased on 134 reviewsAmy2 June 2024me and my partner stopped here for our anniversary. Did not disappoint! Kirsty was super friendly and helpful and had good advice on the area and where to eat. she was so nice and made us feel right at home! was a amazing experience, not just a place to stay but was more of an experience and was fun! the surrounding area was perfect, beautiful and we have a lovely evening walk and enjoyed a Ice cream too 😀 The breakfast was really nice too! definitely recommend this place! loved that we could bring the dog too 😊Thanks for having us guys! see you again soon xKhloe1 June 2024Peter and Kirsty were absolutely wonderful hosts during our overnight stay. Their farm is very welcoming and so, so cosy all round. The views are spectacular, I don’t think I’d ever get bored of seeing them! Peter and Kirsty provided all the amenities you could need and plenty to keep families and kids happy too. Breakfast was spot on and we had a great sleep as the bed is fab too. Thanks so much for having us 😊Sarah30 May 2024Peter was a great host, very attentive , friendly and proactive. Peter always responded to messages within 2 hours, and gave helpful advice and recommendations. Our airbnb converted calf pen was spacious, cosy and homely. Our favourite amenity was the log burner- firewood was provided at £15 which was very reasonable. We had access to the kitchen and toilet facilities, and we were provided dry robes for showering. The area was gorgeous, with only a 20 minute walk to Bolton Abbey & Cavendish Pavilion. Valley of desolation was our favourite, gorgeous views which seemed undiscovered. Overall, my partner and I loved our stay and made very precious memories! Thank you Peter!Rob28 May 2024Fantastic unique place, great hosts. Lovely breakfast. Thanks!Rebecca27 May 2024Wow what an experience! The barn was beautiful, especially the bedroom. The stove kept it warm. The surroundings were beautiful and the addition of the cafe was a bonus. Lovely hot showers and new shower/toilet block.Harry26 May 2024Fantastic Airbnb, beautiful location and great host.Chloe24 May 2024We had a lovely night stay here with our dog. It was a last minute booking (booked a couple of hours before arriving due to a change in plan), of which Peter was very accomodating. Lovely rustic barn and stunning walks nearby.Alice19 May 2024Really good stay, Peter was informative and responsive and couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely to have a cafe on site, really quiet and beautiful spot for a good snooze! Thanks!Jen18 May 2024We had a wonderful 4-night stay in the converted cabin where we could switch off and enjoy the surroundings. The highlight of our stay was the stunning countryside, amazing views and Hattie the cat, who would love to keep us company, especially when we had the fire roaring! This is quite a special place for anyone ready to experience farm life with everything that comes with it: birdsong waking you up in the morning, starry night skies, sheep bleating in the fields and chilly nights (the log fire, electric blanket and extra thick blankets helped with this). The showers and toilets were spacious, with extra hot water if needed. We needed to send emails and could pop into the cafe with super-fast WiFi. Peter was always on hand to help and answer my queries :)Grace12 May 2024Lovely one night stay in the rustic barn. Beautiful surroundings with lots of walks and a very kind, welcoming host.

Managed to lose the key to our accommodation & Peter got his ladder & climbed through our window to let us back in🤣 so peaceful & relaxing. Can’t wait for the next visit.Angela Evans30 May 2024We walked up from Barden bridge, quite a hike, and had well deserved coffee in the courtyard. Only 4 stars for food as we didn't eat there but locals appeared to be enjoying their brunchesTony Boden7 May 2024Perfect, tasty food, very friendly and helpfull staff. Definitely a gem of a place.Mykola GloryUkraine1 May 2024Дуже приємні люди власники, прийшли на допомогу!! Дує їм дякую!!Kasia Winter14 April 2024Fab brunch.Susan Makelifelovlier31 March 2024Once again Back O'Th' Hill Farm, cooked us one of the best breakfasts we have had. A Gourmet Ham, egg and cheese omelette which I could have eaten twice, it was so delicious. Coffee to savour. Standards are always high and atmosphere laid back and relaxing. Eager to serve and give you the best experience they can. Would be great if Skipton Road was open for them. However people get there despite all of that. It's a quirky, idyllic little secret, known to all the nicest folk. 😉Jordan Childerley30 March 2024If you're looking to stay in this area I would definitely checking out this lovely farm. They had great decor and the food looked brilliant. The owners are very friendly and kind people - We had stopped just up the road to go for a walk and upon returning, even though their shop was closed, they still gifted us some milk and water for a cup of tea! I will personally be coming back here in the future to try the food and stay in their rooms!
